1.0 OBJECTIVE
To lay down the procedure for the operation of the Hygrometer.
2.0 SCOPE
This SOP shall be applicable to Hygrometer used in QC
Dept.
3.0
RESPONSIBILITY
3.1
Chemist QC and above
shall be responsible for the preparation and execution of this SOP
3.2
Sr. Chemist QC & above
and QA Head shall be responsible for the checking and approval of this
SOP.

5.0
PROCEDURE
5.1
Cleaning
5.1.1 Hygrometer apparatus shall be kept on a clean with dry cloth/cotton.
5.1.2 Platform of Hygrometer shall be wiped with a dry lint-free cloth
on a daily basis so that there will be no dust particles on the Hygrometer
5.2 Operation
5.2.1 Ensure that the reading of Hygrometer shall be properly displayed.
5.2.2
Ensure that the temperature and humidity of the hygrometer shall
be maintained properly in our record.
5.2.3
Ensure that the temperature shall not exceed 27 degree
centigrade and relative humidity 55% respectively.
5.3
Calibration of the
Instrument
5.3.1
External calibration is done for Instrument once in 12
months.
