STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE FOR CLEANING OF QUALITY CONTROL DEPARTMENT

1.0 OBJECTIVE

To lay down the procedure for cleaning of Quality control department.

2.0 SCOPE

This SOP shall be applicable for the cleaning of the Quality control department.

3.0 RESPONSIBILITY

3.1 Chemist and above shall be responsible for the preparation and execution of this SOP

3.2 QC & QA Head shall be responsible for the checking and approval of this SOP.

3.3 HOD shall be responsible for the authorization of this SOP.

4.0 ACCOUNTABILITY

5.0 PROCEDURE

5.1 All the floor areas shall be wipe & clean with a clean cloth soaked in water containing desinfectan solution.

5.2 All benches, shelves, tops of the platform, refrigerator and Incubator shall be wipe with a clean cloth soaked in water containing disinfectant solution.

5.3 The interior portion of the all instrument shall be wipe with a clean cloth soaked in 70 % IPA.

5.4 Glass, doors and windows frames shall be clean & wipe with colin solution or 70 % IPA.

5.5 Ceiling shall be dedust with dry cloth and wipe with 70 % IPA.

5.6 Precautions

5.6.1 The personnel in charge of the cleaning and sanitation shall be use gloves and dress.

5.6.2 Ensure for to strictly follow the instructions in handling of each cleaning solution subject to their functional characteristics.

5.6.3 The whole process of cleaning and sanitation shall be carried out with purified water.

5.6.4 Skin contact shall be avoided with the sanitation solutions as they are irritating in nature.
