SOP FOR UNIFORM LABELING


1. PURPOSE

To describe a procedure of uniform labeling for clear identification of items.

2. SCOPE

This SOP demonstrates the systematic procedure for labeling all chemicals, solvents, prepared solutions, and Instruments with an appropriate identification in the laboratory and for the sake of uniformity

3. RESPONSIBILITY



The quality manager is responsible for preparing and implementing this procedure.


4. PROCEDURE

4.1 Volumetric solution : Annexure-1

4.2 Indicator solution: Annexure-2

4.3 Media/ Raw material: Annexure-3

Note: In the case of Hygroscopic Chemicals, they should be discarded if any changes in physical characteristics are observed at any given point in time.
