5.0 PROCEDURE
5.1 Cleaning of the floor.
5.1.1 Remove the dust with the help of a broom, twice daily. The sweeper will perform the cleaning in Quality Control.
5.1.2 Collect the accumulated dust and put it into the dustbin.
5.1.3 Empty the dustbin into the garbage area.
5.1.4 Mop the floor with diluted phenyl or Dettol solution twice daily.
5.1.5 The windowpanes and doors shall be cleaned with a clean duster. If required use soap solution or a suitable solvent to remove the stains.
5.2 Cleaning of walls
5.2.1 Clean the walls and corners of the ceiling with a vacuum cleaner using a nylon brush at the end of the vacuum pipe.
5.2.2 If the spots or stain remains on the wall, clean the same with diluted soap solution
or by any suitable solvent
5.2.3 All instruments and working bench shall be cleaned daily with a dry cloth before cleaning
an instrument ensures that it is not in use and switches off the instruments.
5.2.4 Dry duster should be used for cleaning purposes.
5.2.5 Vacuum the cleaner may be used for cleaning the space behind the instruments and Corners of working benches.
5.2.6 While cleaning, take precautions, not to disturb the electrical wiring of instruments
and of draining connections.
