1. Purpose: To define a system in the organization to take corrective action when non-conforming work or departures from the policies and procedures in the management system or technical operations have been identified.
2. Scope: This procedure is applicable to all activities affecting the laboratory management system of the organization.
3. Responsibility: Technical Manager is responsible to implement this procedure.
4. Procedure:
4.1 Whenever non-conforming work is observed the same is recorded and reviewed by the concerned personnel.
4.2 The laboratory personnel investigated the root cause of the nonconformity and select the corrective action for implementation, which is most likely to eliminate the problem and prevent a recurrence.
4.3 The corrective action taken is being monitored by the laboratory for effectiveness.
4.4 The record of corrective action taken is being maintained by the Technical Manager.
