1. Purpose: The purpose of this documented procedure is to use the NABL logo on test reports as per document NABL 133.
2. Scope: This procedure is applicable to all test reports covered under the NABL accreditation scope.3. Responsibility: Technical Manager is responsible to implement this procedure.
4. Procedure: Our laboratory has started the use of the NABL symbol after accreditation, while using the NABL symbol on test reports following is considered as a minimum:
a) NABL symbol is being used on the test report which is shown as under;
b) Certificate number is provided with the symbol and placed centrally in it as shown above.
c) NABL symbol is legible and displayed in appropriate form and size, it is also ensured that the design is not being distorted;
d) NABL symbol is being produced in black color only;
e) To avoid distortion of graphics in case of sending test reports via e-mail, test reports are converted into pdf files.
f) The test reports issued under the accredited scope shall be signed by the NABL-approved authorized signatory;
g) In case the approved authorized signatory leaves the laboratory the uses of the NABL symbol is stopped immediately and the same is informed to NABL;
h) At present our laboratory is not subcontracting its test activities however in the future if our laboratory subcontracts its testing activities, the use of the logo will be done as per clause 6 of NABL document 133;
i) Our laboratory is using the NABL symbol in publicity and /or advertising materials for promotional purposes, including brochures, business reports & stationary, technical literature, websites, or on proposals/ quotations for testing or calibration work;
j) NABL symbol is being used for the (lab name )site only in case if laboratory shifts the premises the uses of the NBAL symbol will be immediately stopped;
k) In brochure or quotation our laboratory distinguishes tests that are covered under NABL scope from those that are not covered;
l) Where the NABL symbol is printed on letterhead such stationery is not used for any work
which is exclusively outside the NABL scope of accreditation;
i) Our laboratory is using the NABL symbol in publicity and /or advertising materials for promotional purposes, including brochures, business reports & stationary, technical literature, websites, or on proposals/ quotations for testing or calibration work;
j) NABL symbol is being used for the (lab name )site only in case if laboratory shifts the premises the uses of the NBAL symbol will be immediately stopped;
k) In brochure or quotation our laboratory distinguishes tests that are covered under NABL scope from those that are not covered;
l) Where the NABL symbol is printed on letterhead such stationery is not used for any work
which is exclusively outside the NABL scope of accreditation;
m) In the event of suspension/withdrawal of accreditation the laboratory will immediately cease to issue certificates and reports displaying the NABL symbol.
